Did you know?
Baby hair is thinner compared to adult hair, and therefore more prone to tangling and breakage.
Baby & Toddler Hair Care Tips & Tricks
Make It Fun
Sometimes baby and toddler don’t like getting their hair washed. Do your best to make it fun – maybe with a playful distraction! Sing a song, tell them you’re giving them a “spa massage” by lathering them with baby shampoo and try blowing bubbles. Distracting them can be helpful in planning bath activities.
Get the Right Haircut
The most stylish haircut can be the ‘right haircut’ – one that is manageable and easy to care for. If your child has curly hair, you might want their hair all one length with no bangs. If thick or wavy hair, try a layered haircut to help cut back the tangles.
Comb Hair When Wet
Before knots start ruining you and your child’s day, try to get ahead of them by combing toddler hair with a wide-tooth comb when you’re done washing and conditioning their hair. A few sprays of our NO MORE TANGLES® Detangling Spay will help with managing knots and tangles – consider it your haircare’s best friend.
You’ve got kids and you’ve got their hair. They don’t prepare you for the wild twists, knots, directions and tangles that can be released in rainy and humid weather or stick straight out in cold and dry weather. Use gel or our NO MORE TANGLES® Detangling Spray to tame your toddler’s hair.
Tear-free means worry-free. JOHNSON’S® Baby Shampoo is made with our NO MORE TEARS® formula, designed specifically for baby and young children so it’s mild to the scalp and gentle to their eyes.
Take care of the knots and win the battle against tangles with our NO MORE TANGLES® collection: Shampoo, 2-in-1 Shampoo & Condition, or our Detangling Spray that’ll help make their hair manageable.
